I have heard to versions of things so I thought I'd ask. would people on here consider french restaurants and their food to be pricy and not worth the cost? is it true that french food serves as very small portions? and well, I guess you can discuss french food here I mean real stuff I don't mean french toast and french fries obviously. or food with the name french in it I mean food from france of course.

In my area, there are no French restaurants that I am aware of, and I have never been to one, period. However, I have been to a couple Cajun style restaurants when I was down south, but I'm assuming that isn't what you are talking about.

I don't hink any of the negative things you listed are singular to french food. I know of hamburger joints with small portions, and coffee shops that are over priced. French restaurants are just like every other restaurant, except they serve french food. If you like french food, find one thatyou like to eat french food from. If you don't like french food, don't go to french restaurants.
